NACADA identifies core competencies for academic advising that serve as the foundation for our professional development series. Join us to enhance your knowledge and skills on the conceptual, informational, and relational aspects of academic advising. All MSU staff, faculty, and graduate assistants with advising responsibilities are encouraged to attend.

Informational workshops focus on the knowledge advisors must gain to guide the students at their institution.

Conceptual workshops focus on the ideas and theories that advisors must understand to effectively advise students.

Relational workshops focus on the skills academic advisors must demonstrate.
